Shift + Command + B
(for mac)

Control + Shift + B
(for windows)

It's the fastest way to hide your bookmarks while sharing your screen. 

Your demo presentation should be as clean as possible. 

Exposed bookmarks during a sales demo are extremely distracting. 

If you think it doesn't matter, you don't understand the human attention span.

Details, details, details. 

Don't miss the easy stuff. 

Make your demo presentations as flawless as possible. 

It only takes 1 second for a prospect to miss your key selling point.

I probably use this shortcut a few dozen times per day, not only to help eliminate distractions when I'm sharing my screen but also to eliminate the distractions for myself while working. 

There's a term called "mono-tasking" which everyone should strive for while working. It's the opposite of multi-tasking. 

One of the best ways to become an expert mono-tasker is to eliminate distractions; open only one app or window at a time, remove clutter from your screen, silence your phone and notifications, etc. 

If you focus on one thing at a time, you'll do those things better.
