It's pitching problems.
Focus your sales calls on asking questions and explaining the problem.
You'll know you've accomplished your mission when they start asking about the solution to the problem.
If you're jumping into the solution before that curiosity has developed...
Your sales process is likely to be loaded with friction.
Ask questions and sell the problem.
Get them to the point of acknowledging they need a solution.
The rest will flow organically.
Historically sales has been about jumping in front of someone's face with fancy gadgets and solutions. This worked for generations until people developed the ick to it.
Today the first step of sales is convincing someone they have a problem worth solving.
If you start there, the rest gets easier.
